Kate has twenty years’ experience within pensionā€™s management. Kate started working for actuarial and benefit consultancy firm William M Mercer. She joined EBS in 1995, initially as part of a team to develop the EBS SIPP. In July 2003 Kate took on full responsibility for running the division at EBS, before becoming a Director of the Embark Group in 2017.

James joined Norwich Union in 1999 as a SSAS administrator before moving to HSBC Trust Company in 2003 where he first worked with SIPPs. He worked for HSBC across a 10 year period joining the senior management team. In 2013 he joined EBS to head up our Retirement & Calculations team and form part of the Senior Management Committee. James holds the Diploma in Financial Planning from the CII including the AF3 qualification (Pension Transfer Specialist).

Phil has more than 20 years of global experience across wealth management, asset management, and brokerage, insurance and consulting. Phil was Managing Director and Global Management Committee member at Barclays Wealth, where he played a major role in the inception and development of the global infrastructure of this business line for Barclays Plc. His previous roles include that of Global Chief Financial Officer of Fortis Investments and director-level roles at Arthur Andersen, Prudential M&G and Prudential Corporation Asia. During this time, he built up extensive experience of M&A, joint venture partnerships and greenfield business development across Asia, EMEA and the Americas.

Vincent’s career spans 25 years of working in global financial institutions, most recently as Managing Director and Group CFO at BNP Paribas Investment Partners. He has extensive international experience having held various senior finance positions at Instinet, Merrill Lynch ā€“ in their Paris, London and New York offices ā€“ and KPMG, before moving to BNP Paribas Investment Partners. During his career, Vincent has gained valuable skills in performance management and business strategy including various M&A activities. Vincent holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics, Applied Mathematics and Econometrics from Paris-Ouest University.
